How do you start your day?

Did you know that the first hour of the morning is crucial? How you spend it will determine your experience of the rest of the day.

This is why it’s so important that we create a sacred morning ritual while healing to get you ready for the day ahead.

So, today, I’m going to be sharing with you 5 ways to start your day while healing.

Start You Day While Healing Tip #1

We all have something to be grateful for. We all have something that is so beautiful in our lives. We all have something truly that we are grateful for.

So, every single morning, I wake up, I put my hands on my heart, and I truly tap into my heart, and how I’m feeling, and I think about three things that I am truly grateful for.

Say positive thoughts to yourself. Louise Hay, she always talked about mirror work, and I loved that.

She would look in the mirror, and she would say, “This is a good day. This is going to be a really good day.”

And she would look at herself in the mirror, and she would repeat these beautiful affirmations to herself “I am worthy, I am good enough. I am creating the life that I am destined for.

Write in your journal. Write in your journal some thoughts that you have, some feelings, what’s coming up for you.

You might even want to journal about the dream that you had the night before or the opportunities that you have ahead of you, what you are going to do today.

You can just actually put your pen to paper, and whatever comes up, sketch it down. It’s just a wonderful practice to get everything that’s up in your head out on paper.

Meditation… Meditate every single morning. I tend to meditate between 20 to 45 minutes. When you’re getting started, even just a five-minute meditation.

Just practicing sitting still and taking those deep belly abdominal breaths, really filling up the lungs with clean air, and releasing, clearing your mind from all the junk. Marianne Williams, she said we all take showers in the morning, but we also need to meditate and get out all that dirt and that garbage that’s in our minds.

It’s exercise! It helps us get out of our head, and get into our body. We get into our body, and we move our body, and it shifts our perspective. It just makes us feel better.

After I do my morning workout, I feel a complete shift. I’m so much happier that I took that time for myself to take care of my body. Jim Rohn, he says take care of your body, it’s the only place you have to live.

These are the 5 things that I do every single morning no matter what, and it took me a long time to make this a consistent practice. But when you keep showing up, and you keep doing it, it just becomes a ritual, and you look forward to it every single day.

And if you haven’t heard of Hal Elrod, I highly suggest you look into Hal. He’s a guru at creating of morning routines.

It’s the most sacred time of day for me. It gets me prepared, so I’m able to serve other people, and it’s important to take care of ourselves before we take care of others.
